National U12 Junior Championship 2024

FEDAKO kicked off its season of national chess championships for 2024 where the U12 Junior Championship was held Sunday November 3rd. Various young and upcoming talented youths battled it out in the 5 round tournament of 15 minute games to claim the title of National Champion for kids age 12 and under and or sub-category prizes for U10 and U8. Below an overview of the prize winners. Hriday Rajpal claimed 1st prize as overall winner with a perfect score of 5/5 leaving Xavi Diaz De Pool 2nd and Laurens van Diepen 3rd both with 3.5 pts by the tie-break.
